We are proud to announce that Breakwater Offshore Services & Investments (Pty) Ltd is now fully ISO certified, marking a significant step in our commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

We have officially obtained:

• ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management
• ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management
• ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety

Issued by DNV, these certifications go beyond compliance. They reflect the systems, discipline, and standards we’ve put in place to operate safely, efficiently, and responsibly.

At the same time, compliance remains the foundation of how we operate. We continue to align with key international maritime and safety frameworks, including:

• International Safety Management (ISM)
• Safety Management Certification (SMC)
• Maritime Labour Convention (MLC, 2006)
• International Ship Security Certificate (ISPS)

Notably, Breakwater is currently the only Namibian-owned company operating with a DOC issued by DNV, with the support of the Directorate of Maritime Affairs (DMA) under the Ministry of Works and Transport on behalf of the Namibian flag state.For us, this is about more than certification. It is about proving that a 100% Namibian-owned company can meet global standards and actively support offshore oil and gas operations at an international level.
